On Friday afternoon we had an opportunity to acknowledge all the amazing work Zhang Ting has been leading as our Mandarin Learning Assistant for the past two years. The Confucius Institute put on a farewell ceremony to thank all the MLA before they head back to their homeland at the end of the school year. We will be sad to see our amazing Zhang laoshi leave, but the positive difference she has made at our school will continue to grow for years to come. We have been so lucky to have her for two years, and I am sure she’ll be looking forward to be home with her family again. Thank you for everything Zhang Ting. Silverdale is a better place because of you! Thanks for sharing with us your amazing language and culture. We will miss you!
