Last week a team of four students represented our school in the Regional Literature Quiz evening.  This event involved 65 teams from the Waikato and Tauranga regions.  These teams were composed of mostly year 7 and 8 students.  Silverdale Normal School performed exceedingly well finishing 37th (and fourth primary school team).  This is an amazing achievement and something to be really proud of!  The team loved the opportunity which promotes reading a wide range of literature (and the odd movie) as well as learning to work in a co-operative way.
