Last November, David Bennet, the MP for Hamilton East, visited our school with a very interesting propositon… he asked us to host (and grow) his future prize winning pumpkin which we called ‘Bob Marley’. Last weekend the Hamilton Gardens hosted The Great Pumpkin Carnival which included a pumpkin growing competition. We took lots of care of Mr Bennet’s pumpkin plant, and are delighted to be able to tell you that it won the celebrity section of the competition. We receive the trophy next week!!
