This term our chess club is meeting twice a week.  The sessions are for beginners and experts with more experienced players playing one another, taking part in problems and working toward earning their pawn badge.

Currently our beginner group are learning how pieces move and basic chess strategies.

Early next term Silverdale Normal is hosting a chess tournament for Hamilton Schools-  maybe some of these players will have an opportunity to represent their school!
