Our schools vision is ‘Making a Positive Difference’.  This is a statement that drives every action at Silverdale Normal School.  A recent initiative has asked for consultation from our community, staff and students to select some special New Zealanders who we believe have made a positive difference to the lives of others.

A result of this consultation is some amazing new names for our learning areas.  This signage, and the learning that underpins it will ensure that our students are aware of these amazing New Zealanders, understand what dispositions helped them make a difference and can apply this to their own lives.
