Waikato Hospital Play Specialists would like to thank the families of Silverdale Normal School for their generous donation of pyjamas and toys.

Play specialist Meenu Wadhwa thanked the students who brought them up to the hospital on Monday – she said that the gifts were immensely appreciated. “Sometimes our patients are rushed in and they don’t have any pyjamas or even a soft cuddly toy to make them feel safe,”   The school donated hundreds of toys for all ages and three boxes of pyjamas which will be given out to patients as they need them.
